A postdoctoral associate position is available at Michigan Technological University (Michigan Tech) to conduct research on a wide range of topics related to computational biomedical engineering. The appointment is for 12 months, with an option for renewal upon satisfactory performance and funding availability. Successful applicants would join a team of postdoctoral staff, undergraduate and graduate students advised by Dr. Jingfeng Jiang, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of Biocomputing and Digital Health (a joint center affiliated with Health Research Institute and Institute of Computing and Cybernetics). The postdoctoral associate has opportunities to collaborate with clinical collaborators outside Michigan Technological University, notably Betz Family Center for Congenital Heart Health at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The applicant would select research topic(s) working with the supervisor on the following area: • Biomedical Imaging Analysis and Data Analytics, Including Machine Learning • Computer Modeling of Human Physiological Systems • Software Development and Integration with applications in Biomedical analytics Michigan Tech attracts world-class faculty and staff who enrich the educational experience of smart, motivated, and adventurous students.
